Seit 2018 bringt die QUEER B-CADEMY in ihrem jährlichen Klassentreffen lokale und internationale Künstler*innen und verschiedene Communities der Stadt zusammen, um kollektiv intersektionale Wissensproduktion und queere Utopiebildung zu betreiben. In einer performativen Installation treffen Performances, Musik und Diskurs aufeinander. Diesmal nach dem Motto einer 70er Jahre Demo: »I Am Your Worst Nightmare – I Am Your Best Fantasy«.
Der Blick der Gesellschaft auf Queers bewegt sich auch heute noch zwischen Angst und Faszination: irgendwo lauert Befreiung, aber die erfordert Mut. Publicly Irresistible eben – so auch der Titel der diesjährigen Ausgabe. Gemeinsam mit lokalen Künstler*innen errichtet das Queer B-Cademy-Kollektiv einen performativ-installativen Trimm-Dich-Pfad im Kampnagel-Westfoyer: Spielerisch, poetisch und unwiderstehlich. Dazu gibt es ein Programm aus Performances, Konzerten und Club-Acts.
